Previously, I had been worried that the new bbc 3 comedy I’m with stupid. This afternoon, however, I read this article by Alan martin, which does go some way to assuage my concerns. He points out that, after all, this is a bit of fiction, not intended to mirror reality. Of course, one can point out that programmes with crips in come about so rarely, this is our one chance to get it right; yet for the same reason, if we moan too much, we risk putting off program selectors, and programmes about disabled people won’t be commissioned.
