I must say the idea of a disabled people’s party is appealing. Although it might face questions of scope and accusations of being a one trick pony, a party of people with disabilities standing up for people with disabilities may be just what we need. We’re being largely ignored by mainstream parties, shat on my the government. I just came across this interesting Guardian piece about how such a party has been set up in Cordoba, Argentina.
