I wanted to go to a protest, but left it too late.
That’ll teach me not to wait.
When I got to Westminster, everyone had gone home,
So I was suddenly there all alone.
I really wanted to join the Rejoin march
Going down Whitehall and under Marble Arch.
But of such protests there will be more to come,
The campaign to Rejoin the EU has only just begun.
