You Can Take My Horror As Read

I suppose as a blogger I’m now in a bit of a tight spot. I see it as part of my role to give some kind of commentary on what is going on in the world, particularly from the perspective of a disabled man. The thing is, we can all see what is going on; I’m sure everyone else will be just as appalled as I am. Thus, yesterday’s entry aside, I currently find myself torn between the urge to carry on my blogging as usual, writing about whatever takes my fancy on a given day, or to focus wholeheartedly on what is currently unfolding in the wider world. To be honest I see both as just as important. Thus, if over the next few days/entries you start to wonder why I’m not saying anything about what is unfolding in the Middle East, it isn’t because I don’t care. It isn’t that I’m not utterly horrified by what is going on or apoplectic that the USA could sink so low: I just suspect my focus might be better kept elsewhere. You can just take my horror as read.
