As the son of two scientists, and sibling of two more, this is of great interest. It says – and I don’t pretend to understand it – that some types of neutrinos may have mass.. I may be talking out of my ass here, but didn’t I hear somewhere that much of the mass in the universe is ‘missing’, and, if so, might this explain it?
dammit. just read the article again, including the part which says ”In the longer term, the findings may also help us to better understand the mystery of “missing mass” in the Universe.”
