Shakespeare stole every plot in every play from other sources. He is still regarded as the greatest playwright of all time. Originality is over rated. Tolkien also stole from multiple sources. This is your personal opinion. It is not a factual slam dunk argument.

In terms of the specifics I have no comment. Lost interest in Star Wars long ago. From the first film he made clear allusuins to otherfilms/genres so I’m not sure it was ever about originality. I never read Tolkien. I did see the Lord of the Rings films. Never seen a Star Trek film only the early TV series. I have read all the Potter books and seen the films. Not great art, but enjoyable entertainment.
