Sickening Corruption

This is getting sickening. I’ve recently watched quite a few Youtube videos on just how appallingly corrupt the USA is becoming, of which I think this is one of the best. There was a time, just after the second world war, when America was lorded as the world’s saviour and bastion of democracy: everyone loved American culture, film. and music. From what I’ve been hearing, it acted magnanimously and selflessly. Quite frankly, the contrast with the US we see today couldn’t be more gut-churning: a vile, selfish culture of arrogant luddites, lead by a wannabe despot. With more and more people crying out in genuine anguish and bewilderment at the direction the country is heading in, surely the time is fast approaching for the rest of humanity to step in.

  1. Hiiii Matthew! I love your blog. i read almost every post ever since i subscribed last year. I’ve commented in the past but i’ve been meaning to comment more! I def will double back and comment on some posts one day! But for this post, it may sound pessimistic but it’s actually hopeful. I’m here in the US and active in leftist movements in AZ. Many of us believe no one is coming to “save us.” The US is on our own. If no one is going to stop Israhell’s genocide in Palestine and their brutal attacks in Lebanon and their other neighbors, definitely no one is going to step in to stop the US. i can’t wrap my head around why but it’s probably something about imperialism/power and money. You’d have to ask an international relations expert or historian. I believe “no one is coming to save us” is the correct mindset because it keeps us grounded in reality and we must continue to work inside the belly of the beast to ensure we bring down this violent empire FOR GOOD. The citizens of the US have the right to self-determination too (we should have never attacked Iran! Iranians have the right to self-determination too (but we know this war is about oil and we’re Israhell’s b!tch)). All countries around the world are affected my US war machine and white supremacy, capitalism, patriarchy and imperialism. Each country has to find a way not to divest and be independent from the US, and that will include divesting from the white supremacist capitalist imperialist patriarchy within themselves and country. Power to the people!

  2. lmao i remember anthony scaramucci used to follow me on twitter. so random xD
also i have not forgiven anthony scaramucci. he was a part of trump’s 1st admin. maybe he’s trying to make up for his sins or, realistically, he’s trying to make a profit off of trump (just like everyone else) and the fame he gained while working for the admin for 11 days lol

  3. i watched the interview. thank you for sharing! i loved at the end how holland said WW2 was a great example of collaboration and cooperation with other countries for the Allied forces. idk when the world shifted and we stopped collaborating to fight a shared enemy. That enemy right now is global warming and we’re doing nothing about it (or you could say the US and Israhell. the US military is the biggest polluter on the planet, and no one is stopping us)

    1. I think that was the comment which really caught my attention too: not that long ago, America was well respected and everyone wanted to work with them. It is now little more than a deranged laughing stock, and won’t recover it’s reputation for a very long time.
