Today I just want to draw your attention to something which I think is rather cool: while I still write the majority of my blog entries on my desktop computer of course, I have taken to writing more and more using my iPad while I’m out and about. It gives me a flexibility which I didn’t have before. Thus yesterday, while I was at the pride event and then coming home from it, I found myself jotting down my entry sentence by sentence into the notes app, ready to put online the next time I found a WiFi connection. There is something awesome about blogging on the tube. Of course, any links I want to include have to wait until I get back to my computer as copying and pasting links is slightly too fiddly for me to do using a touchscreen, but I find it a great way to generate blog entries. Perhaps it gives them an extra immediacy; it certainly helps me make sure I don’t forget anything. Mind you, given that I also use my iPad as my communication aid, I just need to make sure that I don’t dent the battery level too much.
