Grotesque Duplicity Before My Coffee

This morning, having had to suffer the grotesque spectacle of Nigel Farage spouting bullshit on the breakfast news, I think I’m just going to state the blindingly obvious: he’s scared. Now that Andy Burnham has started to speak openly about our relationship with the EU and the possibility of another referendum, the xenophobic p’tahk is petrified of putting the question to the people again. Farage knows full well that we can see the damage brexit has done; he knows that only a complete idiot would vote to stay outside the EU. Such a vote would both end his career and render him a laughing stock, so he’s shit scared of having it. Thus for him to come on national TV this morning and accuse Burnham of somehow being dishonest for re-opening the debate over Brexit really shows us what a duplicitous little weasel Farage is: the general election he was speaking of as some sort of alternative wouldn’t settle the issue, and would serve no-one but himself. That should be obvious to anyone who understands anything about politics, quite frankly; but given the damage he did to the country a decade ago and in the ten years since, that this vile charlatan still has the audacity to appear on national television and try to deceive us further still really is an insult to us all.
